Master Taro is the heir to his father's village and is loved by everyone—that is, with the exception of a young, jealous warlord from a rival village. The envious enemy conspires to end Taro's life and clear the way to take control of the surrounding villages.  Passion build throughout the story as servants and noblemen alike strive to win the Lord Taro's favor, but who will win his heart?
